The Yard
The Yard is available for hire for a wide range of events, including rehearsals, performance, meetings, training events, regular classes and personal occasions.

About the space
The space is about 8m square and 5.5m high, with light grey concrete walls that can be covered with heavy black curtains. We have around 70 chairs. If you need theatre lights or sound equipment, you will need to bring them with you.
Please note that the floor is concrete with a 2mm thick pale blue Joelmat covering – this is generally not suitable for dancers.
We apologise in advance, but as there are people living and working around the space it is not generally suitable for band practices or other very loud activities. We also do not take bookings for religious meetings.
We take occasional bookings for parties in consultation with Homes for Change; we usually ask for at least 6 weeks notice and a £100 cleaning deposit.
